Evelyn Zawislak, born June 21, 1940, in Canora, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Antonia Sleeva.
Evelyn is survived by her brother Ernie (Cecilia) Sleeva; daughters, Leane (Danny) Zborosky and Carla; cherished grandchildren, Jessa (Eric), Zak (Keanne), Rashad, and Nayla; and bonus great-grandchildren, Lacey and Lucas; as well as nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Ev was an exceptional cook and baker, always eager to share her meals and famous birthday desserts. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, visiting with her neighbours, enjoying quiet moments with a crossword puzzle, word search, or Sudoku and never missed tuning in to a Rider Game.
Her warmth, generosity, and the simple joys she found in everyday life will be remembered by all who knew her.
