Dawn Housner, age 67 of Naperville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Tabor Hills in Naperville.
Dawn was born on November 30, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived and cherished by her children, Joshua Housner, Jamie (Ian) Svitak, Jessica (Alan) Weller, and her grandson, Miller and her siblings, David and Dennis Bormann. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Rose Bormann.
Dawn was a pillar of strength and her love for her family was evident in everything she did. She enjoyed crocheting, attending concerts, reading, her cats and spending time with her children who were the light of her life.
Known for her kindness, warmth, and generosity, Dawn touched the lives of those around her with her selfless spirit and unwavering support and blankets. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A memorial service to honor Dawn’s life will be held from 1:00pm- 4:00pm on Sunday, August 25th at Pal Joeys, 31 N River St, Batavia. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and share their memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dawn may be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org) or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (komen.org).
