Danny Charles Haddock passed away at his home on August 17, 2024. Danny was born to Bobbie and T.C. Haddock on December 16, 1952 in Temple, Tx. Danny was a 1971 graduate of Lockhart High School and later pursued a career in plumbing, but was known as a jack of all trades. Danny loved the outdoors and could always be found having a good time fishing, hunting or BBQ ing for his family and friends. Danny loved to cook and feed his loved ones and he was very good at it, he could bake or BBQ anything and make it delicious. Music was another one of Danny/'s favorite things in life, he loved country music and old blues. After retirement Danny began collecting and refurbishing guitars while caring for the love of his life, his wife Mary. Danny took pride in fixing up guitars and gifting them to his children and grandchildren.
Danny is survived by his loving wife Mary Haddock, two children : son Travis Haddock, daughter Meranda Massey and husband Heath, three step children Cyrell Handley, Misty Koehler, John Handley, grandchildren Justin Haddock, Jaxon Haddock, Everett Massey, Ellis Massey, several step grandchildren and his sister Kathy Roberts and sister in law Kris Haddock.
Danny will be remembered as funny, kind, crazy and full of life and love. He was an amazing Pawpaw, daddy, husband and friend and his legacy will live on. A celebration of life is planned in a few weeks after cremation has taken place.
