Wayne A. Sowers ll, 67, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD.
Wayne was born in McConnellsburg, PA on August 4, 1957, a son of Sarah E. (Helman) Sowers, of McConnellsburg, PA and the late Wayne A. Sowers l.
He retired from JLG McConnellsburg after many years of service. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 561 McConnellsburg, as well as a member of the VFW/FOVA Post 655. He was also an avid golfer.
In addition to his mother, Wayne is survived by his daughter Tiffany M. (wife of Matt) Galloway, of McConnellsburg, PA and her children Dayten, Landin, and Zayden Gress. He is also survived by his brothers Gregory A. (husband of Deb) Sowers, of McConnellsburg, PA, and Donald Lee (husband of Tina) Sowers, of McConnellsburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his brother Roger W. Sowers.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
