Floyd H Furtaw Obituary
Floyd Furtaw was a loving & caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He left this world on August 17, 2024, at the age of 81; in his hometown of Brooklyn, NY.
His battle with cancer was short and challenging, but he faced it with the same courage that he did with all of life's other obstacles.
Floyd is survived by his 3rd wife Maria; 4 daughters Dorothy, Helen, Nicole and his favorite Erica; stepson Phillip; 3 grandchildren Andrew, Helen & Jenna & many nieces and nephews.
His caring & giving nature, at times even giving the shirt off his back - which is why you may have seen him shirtless a time or 5, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 27th from 3pm-8pm at the Las Rosas Funeral Home- Brooklyn, NY.
Cremation will be private.
