She was born February 20, 1949 in Illinois.
Kay was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Peterson; father, Clarence Peterson; brother, John McAdams; and husband, Joe Lee.
Survivors include sister, Sue Bowman (Glenn), sister-in-law, Karen McAdams; childhood best friend, Jan; stepchildren, Donna Hathaway, Nancy Hathaway; and Joe Lee Jr.; son, Michael Hess; grandson, Jacob Hess (Maleah); and great-grandson, Sway Hess.
