God called Pearl home on August 17 to be reunited with her husband Fred (2021), and son Gary (1973).
Pearl was born on April 24, 1930, to George and Mary Eydt. Her siblings Gordon, Helen, Florence and Vera predeceased her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Linda (Brian), David (Anne), and Betty (Bill), grandchildren Jason (Jennifer), Tiffany (Richard), Amberley (Mark), McKenzie (Jacob) and Benjamin, and great-grandchildren Landon, Tyler, Wyatt, Emma, Kaylee and Edwin.
Pearl grew up on a farm in Millbank and moved to Waterloo in her teens. She met Fred at Luther League, and they were married for 73 wonderful years. She lived her life in her faith and with love for all.
Thank you to all for the attentive care given to Mom by the staff at Columbia Forest. A very special thank you to Sarah for all the love and support she gave to Mom.
Cremation has taken place. On Saturday, August 24, 2024, a memorial visitation will be held for family and friends at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Trillium Lutheran Church or Hospice Waterloo through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com.
