Bethany Dove Hamblen, 38 of Danville, passed away on August 17, 2024 in Avon.  She was born on December 19, 1985 in San Diego, California, to Sharon L. (Pipher) and John R. Hamblen. Beth participated in activism for local cannabis legalization. She enjoyed listening to music, playing the bongo drums, making home videos about twisters, and spending time with her family and friends.  Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Sherry and Larry Killela; father and stepmother, John and Christy Hamblen; sister, Shara Vernon and husband, Eric; two nieces, Olivia and Satia; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.  There will be an intimate gathering on Saturday Aug. 24th. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to offset the funeral charges.
