Albertine Julia (Portier) Meljado, 95 passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024. Tine was born in the Dutch Indies (now Indonesia) to Frederik and Eugenie (Stefan) Portier (both deceased) and moved to the Netherlands to marry Jacob Gerrit Meljado (deceased). They had two daughters Winny (Wayne) Markovitz and Ingrid Meljado (Tom Kennedy-deceased). She was also an Aunt and guardian to Maureen Vos and Arthur (Annette) Vos of Arizona. Tine immigrated to the United States with her family in 1962. Loving Oma of Frankie (Rachel) Markovitz, Nikki Lohr (Jimmy Hanna), Kenny Lohr and Krystyna Markovitz. Omi of Gavin Tycast, Jaydin Hanna, Olivia Markovitz, Caroline Jakupca and Bodhi Markovitz.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Holy Family Church, 7367 York Road, Parma, OH 44130 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 10:00am. Memorial gathering 9:30-10:00am (1/2 hour before Mass). In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 4807 Rockside Rd. Suite 110, Independence, OH 44131.
