ZANESVILLE

Frank J. Magyar passed away peacefully at the Oaks of Bethesda on Saturday August 17, 2024, in Zanesville, Ohio at the age of 91. Frank was born in 1933 in Rayland, OH to Joseph and Mary (Kokai) Magyar. Frank was one of six sons. Frank retired from NCR as an Engineer in Cambridge, OH and served in the United States Air Force for four years. Frank enjoyed gardening, fishing, and all family gatherings and events. His hobbies were anything related to electronics, problem solving, and woodworking.

Frank’s personality brought warmth, kindheartedness, and humor to everyone he encountered. Frank’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Frank is survived by his wife Lucille Magyar of 66 years of marriage; his son Ken (Debbie) Magyar; his deceased daughter Marjorie (Tom) Goss; grandchildren: Michael (Megan) Magyar, Allison Magyar (Jake Lansberry), Kaitlyn Magyar, Corinna Meige, Melissa (Zachary) Jones and Ashley Meige; and great grandchildren: Alexis Meige, Max Jones and Lucy Jones.
