ALEXANDRIA, IN – Timothy Roy Cox, 63, passed away unexpectedly while visiting family in East Alton, Illinois on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
He was born on April 26, 1961, in Anderson to Brodie and Dixie (Dayton) Cox and has lived in Alexandria for the past 30 years. Tim had worked at Ex-cello Corporation, formerly of Elwood. He had owned and operated Cox Construction for several years. Most recently, Tim owned and operated Sparkle Cleaning Service of Alexandria for 20 years. He was a member of Anderson Moose Lodge #150. Tim enjoyed traveling both for work and pleasure. He was a lover of the outdoors and an avid hunter. He appreciated collecting guns and firearms. With a smile on our faces, Tim will be remembered as the life of the party anywhere he could be. But most important in his life was the time he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother in 2016 and his father in 2017and a brother James Cox.
Services honoring Tim’s life and legacy will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in the Noffze Funeral Home, 501 North Harrison Street, Alexandria with Chaplain Rob Mifflin officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The Cox family will receive friends after 12 Noon on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
