Julia J. Dolce (Nee: Ercol) passed away at her daughter’s residence on Saturday a few days after her 86th birthday. Julia worked for J&B Bakery for many years. She was a very devoted member of the Beverly Presbyterian Church, where she served as Past President and Founder of the church’s food pantry. Julia was an avid reader, enjoyed taking walks and she loved to cook and spend time with her loving family. Daughter of the late Angelo Ercol and Margaret Cowan and sister of the late Janet Smith, Marjorie Fiadino, Robert Ercol, Charles Ercol, Julia was also predeceased by her loving husband Joseph W. Dolce and her son in law Jerry Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memory their children: Deborah (Frank, III) Bertino and JoAnne Thompson; grandchildren: Lauren, Brooke, Frank, IV, Adam and Jared, great-grandchildren: Cameron, Dylan, Benjamin, Gideon, Phin, Violet, Frankie V, Giovanni, great-great granddaughter JuJu, her sisters Gloria VanSciver and Angela Guarino as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family invites friends to her viewing and funeral services. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Beverly Presbyterian Church, 121 Warren Street, Beverly, NJ 08010 from 10-11am. The funeral service will begin at 11 with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Beverly Presbyterian Church Food Pantry at the address above.
