Rosa López, 90 years of age, from Emmett, Idaho, passed away peacefully on August 16th, 2024.
 
Rosa was born on September 4th, 1933, in La Leonerita, Jalisco, Mexico to Cleofas and Juana De León. Rosa, with her husband Lucio López, moved to Emmett, Idaho in 1969 to make a home for their family. Rosa had 9 children that she raised, while working up to 3 jobs to be able to provide for her family.
  
Rosa was a woman of faith and was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emmett. She was devoted to her church and made numerous friends that she was able to bless along the way with her contagious smile and big heart.
 
She enjoyed the company of others, and was always giving however she could, most often by feeding those that were fortunate enough to enter her loving home. Having her family gathered around a table is what brought Rosa the most joy.

Her hobbies included gardening, canning from her garden, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed cross stitching and won blue ribbons for her immaculate and beautiful work in Aida Cloth Cross Stitching. She enjoyed music from Neil Diamond, taking vacations with family, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys any time they played.
 
Of all things Rosa enjoyed, her family were the most important thing in her life. Rosa devoted everything she had to her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and even strangers. She treated everyone she met with love and respect. If you were ever lucky to have known Rosa, you felt that love from her from the very first moment of meeting her.
 
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents Cleofas and Juana, her children Eduardo Luis, Guillermo, Rocio, and Jesus. She is survived by her children Saul (Tammy) López, Yolanda (Santos) Hernández, Celina (Aristeo) Alvizo, Javi (Tonya) López, Jose Luis (Ina) López, 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosa López, de 90 años de edad, de Emmett, Idaho entró a su eterno descanso el 16 de agosto del 2024.

Rosa nació el 4 de septiembre del 1933 en La Leonerita, Jalisco, México, hija de Cleofas y Juana De León. Rosa junto con su esposo Lucio López, se vinieron a Emmett, Idaho en 1969 para construir el hogar de su familia. Rosa tuvo 9 hijos a quienes crió, mientras trabajaba hasta 3 trabajos para poder mantener a su familia.

Rosa era una mujer de fe y miembro de la Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón en Emmett. Estaba dedicada a su iglesia y tenía numerosos amigos a quienes pudo bendecir en su camino con su contagiosa sonrisa y gran corazón.

Disfrutaba de la compañía de los demás y siempre daba lo que podía. La mayoría de las veces alimentando a aquellos que tenían la fortuna de entrar en su amoroso hogar. Lo que más le daba alegría a Rosa era tener a su familia reunida alrededor de su mesa.

Sus pasatiempos incluían la jardinería, el envasado de los productos de su jardín, cocinando y horneando deliciosas comidas. Disfrutaba coser a punto de cruz que hasta ganó cintas azules en Aida Cloth Cross Stitching por su trabajo impecable y hermoso. También disfrutaba de la música de Neil Diamond, viajando con la familia, y de animar a los Dallas Cowboys cada vez que jugaban.

De todas las cosas que Rosa disfrutaba, su familia era lo más importante en su vida. Rosa dedicó todo lo que tenía a sus hijos, nietos, familia, amigos e incluso a extraños. Trataba a todos los que conocía con amor y respeto. Si tuviste la suerte de haber conocido a Rosa, sentiste ese amor de ella desde el primer momento en que la conociste.

Rosa fue precedida en muerte por sus padres Cleofas y Juana, sus hijos Eduardo Luis, Guillermo, Rocío y Jesús. Le sobreviven sus hijos Saul (Tammy) López, Yolanda (Santos) Hernández, Celina (Aristeo) Alvizo, Javi (Tonya) López, Jose Luis (Ina) López, 21 nietos, 32 bisnietos y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.
