Putnam – Constance E. (Jacob) Beausoleil, 92, of Elvira Heights, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was the loving wife of David Beausoleil for 73 years. Born in Putnam, CT, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Edna (Allard) Jacob.
Mrs. Beausoleil was a lifelong communicant of Saint Mary Church of the Visitation, Putnam Ct. She also worked for many years at Hale Manufacturing as a secretary and administrator. She later worked from home and was best known as “Aunt Connie” to the many children in the Putnam area that she loved and cared for. Connie enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, gardening and entertaining in her beautiful home. Her greatest pride was her family and she adored being a Grandma and Great-Grandma to Hayden, Tristan and Gabriella Beausoleil.
Constance is survived by her husband David, sons Larry Beausoleil and his wife Pamela of Putnam, CT, and Michael Beausoleil of Mesa AZ, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her sister Gloria Tetreault of Dayville. She also leaves a very large extended family, including a half-sister, a sister and brother in-law and several nieces, nephews and cousins who she cherished. In addition, she was predeceased by her beloved sister, Annette Tucker and Carol Deary.
The Beausoleil Family would like to thank the staff of Matulaitus Nursing Home for all of their care, concern and love shown to our Mom. She truly loved and appreciated each and every one of you and was very grateful for the love shown not only to her but also to her husband David whom she leaves behind. In addition, we thank the staff of Northeastern Ct Hospice who helped her during her final days.
Services for Constance will be held at a later date and are being handled by Gilman & Valade Funeral Homes and Crematory. For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.
