Barbara Ann Curry (Burnheimer), 75, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away at 11:40 p.m Saturday, August 17, 2024 in her Bulaville Pike home with her family by her side.Barbara was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, the daughter of the late Burl and Stella Elanore Williams Burnheimer. She married the love of her life, Larry Donald Curry, on March 11, 1967, and spent 57 beautiful and fulfilling years growing a beautiful family that was the joy of her life. She loved spending hours playing cards with her family, cooking, and doing puzzles. She never met a challenge she didn’t meet head on. She was always there in your time of need, no matter who you were or what was going on. She loved large family gatherings and even wrestling with her great grandkids.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Larry Donald Curry, her brothers, Kenneth Williams, Vernon,and  Marion Burnheimer, her sisters Evelyn Pennington, Elmie Burnheimer, Carol Leport, Neomia Mossan, as well as her granddaughter, Rylie Curry and step-grandson, Trevour Keaton.

 Her legacy continues on with her children, Donald (Cathy) Curry, April Curry, Sue (Jeremiah) Parsons and Brenda Lamm, her grandchildren, Samantha (Andrew) Godwin, Donovan (Alyssa) Curry, Joshua Curry, Andrew Curry, Kylie Curry, Desiree (Miguel) Ruiz Mendoza, Jeannie Klinglesmith, Briar Klinglesmith, Patrick Clay, Shasta (Paul) Barker, Savannah (Larry) Martin, Lawrence Lamm, Eugene (Jasmine) Lamm and Brittany Lamm, Jessie Martin, great-grandchildren, Mason, Emalyn, Jaxson, Kayson, Deloris, Erik, Felix, Miguel, Azul, Estrella, Joaquin, Isaac, Kenndra, Cyrus, Faith, Lilly, Ulysses, Odessa, Braiden, Rhilynn, Jesslee, Blaire, Liam, Elijah, Mariah, Brantley, Madison, Daniel, Chloe, Peyton, Joseph, Gabriella, Jayden, Jasper, Noah, Olivia, Abilgail, Preston, Trenton, Harden, Kaylee, Avery, Nevaeh, Christian, Jamesyn, Adalyn, Shaine, and GraceLynn, Bella, Jayla, Tj, and James. Also surviving is her sister, Kathryn Bonecutter, step-grandson, Adam Scalf, step great-grandchildren, Aiden, Axel and Zaylee. Numerous nieces, nephews and family friends also survive.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home with her grandson, Donovan Curry officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service. Casketbearers are Larry Martin, Eugene Lamm, Donald Curry, Donovan Curry, Joshua Curry and Erik Ruiz Mendoza.
