Robert Eugene Gregory, 86, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Grove Health and Rehab in Jacksonville, Illinois. He was born February 6, 1938 in Bluffs the son of Henry and Mary Gregory. He was married to the love of his life Virginia Gregory, and she precedes him in death.
He is survived by his son, Marc Gregory, 5 grandchildren; and 8 great - grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his brother, Larry Brumley; and his sisters, Roberta Gregory, June Gregory, and Imogene Gregory.
Robert spent many years working all over Jacksonville as a maintenance man for countless businesses. He was an old car admirer, avid military supporter, and loved drinking bad coffee.
