Johnnie Mack Fryman, 80 of Cynthiana, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Perkin’s Country Manor, Augusta, KY.
Johnnie was born July 22, 1944 in Harrison County to Clyde P. and Gertrude (Varner) Fryman.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald C. Fryman, Eddie V. Fryman, Paul W. Fryman, all of Cynthiana; and Jimmie N. Fryman of Memphis, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda (McIntosh) Fryman; daughter, Alissa (Dale) Bostic; grandchildren, Phillip (Autumn) Sexton of Georgetown, Samuel Bostic, and Shannon Bostic of Cynthiana; great-granddaughter, Ellie Sexton; sisters, Nettie Lou Perrin, Trudie Harrison, Jane (Jerry) Jenkins, and Lottie (Tommy) Hamm, all of Cynthiana; a sister-in-law, Irma (Donnie) Arthur; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a retired Manufacturing Engineer from IBM. After retiring he worked as a contract employee for LexMark and Toyota. He enjoyed family, farming, and music. He sang in choirs and the Connersville Christian Church Quartet for many years. He was a member of the Connersville Christian Church.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 1:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Warren French will officiate the services. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery.
