Meisner, Zane Clifford
89, of Bayswater, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in Shoreham Village. Born in East River he was the son of the late Clifford and Madge (Publicover) Meisner. Zane started working at the service station in Simms Settlement at the age of 15 and at the age of 18 he joined the Air Force retiring with 30 years of service. In his retirement he spent many years driving the school bus for Lunenburg County. Zane loved music and played with several local bands. Survived by his wife, Doris (Backman); daughter-in-law, (Marina Roy), Vancouver; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son, Graham; brothers, Otto and Star; sisters, Marion Eckstein, Opal Rockwell. A family graveside service will be held in All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery, Bayswater. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to All Saints Anglican Church, Bayswater.
