Russell James Grant, beloved husband, father, grandfather and an avid outdoorsman passed away August 17, 2024. He was born June 5, 1964 in Traverse City the son of Eldon and Vera (Whitney) and step-mother Norma Grant. He graduated from Carman Ainsworth High School. Russell married his beloved Tina Marie Jovanovitz on October 19, 1996 in Marion, Michigan. He worked as a Market Real Estate Execution Manager at Sam’s Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He was known for “starting projects” and his great sense of humor. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by many.

Russell is survived by his beloved wife Tina, beloved children Fredrick Grant of Imlay City, Amber (Ron Wood) Grant of Mio; loving mother Vera Grant of LeRoy, MI, Norma Grant of Allegan; grandchildren Eric and Syndee. Also surviving siblings Corrina Hendon of Flint, Art (Angie) Grant of LeRoy, Michigan, Donald (Heather) Grant of Allegan, brother-in-law George Tharp, mother-in-law Peggy Jovanovitz, father-in-law Ron (Janet) Jovanovitz, sister-in-law Tanya Jovanovitz and lots of nieces and nephews.
