Floyd Blake Lockhart Sr, 65, of Nutter Fort passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at United Hospital Center surrounded by his family. He was born February 20, 1959 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Charles Robert and Violet Virginia Phillips Lockhart.

Floyd graduated from Lumberport High School, Class of 1977. He worked at Stonewood Police Department, then Clarksburg Casket Company, on to Loomis Fargo and retiring from Paragon Services as a Security Guard at the Derek W. Hotsinpiller Federal Center in Clarksburg.  Floyd enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking. He had a passion for eagles and loved spending time with his family especially the grandchildren.   

Floyd is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela Jean Cross Lockhart whom he married on February 11, 1979; one son, Floyd Blake Lockhart Jr, Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Zachary Lockhart, Zoe Lockhart, Taylor Lockhart, and Brayden Lockhart; one great grandson, Jeffrey Alan Lockhart; two sisters, Rosemary Dodd and Tom, Wilsonburg, and Melody Wade, Brown; seven nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Cooper.
