Gilbert “Skip” Lynn Robinson, 69, of New Martinsville, WV took the next step on his journey on Saturday, August 17, 2024 while at Wheeling Hospital.

Skip was born September 25, 1954, in Grafton, WV son of the late Gilbert R. and Lola V. (Peters) Robinson.

He was a retired electrician for PPG and West Lake. Skip enjoyed golfing, being a fill-in pastor, watching sports, coaching little league and carpentry. His biggest enjoyment was being a family man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Rowyn Cecil and step-mom, Roberta Robinson.

Surviving is his wife of forty-three years, Alexis “Janie” Robinson; three children, Abby (Taylor) Cecil of Paden City, WV, Garrett Robinson of New Martinsville, WV and Andrew Robinson of Charleston, WV; four grandchildren, Hugh Robinson, Margeaux Cecil, Eve Robinson and Viviana Cecil; two sisters, Karon Sebar of New Martinsville, WV and Sharon (Scott) Bowen of Charlotte, NC and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received for visitation from noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Paden City Christian Church, 105 E Main St., Paden City. Burial to be held at the convenience of the family.
