"Sindee" Obituary

Cynthia (Robinson) Hart “Sindee” was born in St. Louis, MO. On February 3, 1947. She departed this earth on August 17,2024 after an extended illness.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dale Hart and children, Shawn Hart in Florida, Heather Hart in Evansville, IN. Heidi Groppenbacher (Adam) in Chandler, IN. Shane Hart in Bloomington, IN. and Sam Hart in Evansville, IN. brother, Skip Robinson in Chicago, IL. She is also survived by grandchildren, Bryce Hart (Kaitlin) in Chicago, IL. Austin Groppenbacher in Chandler, IN. Dylan Groppenbacher in Indianapolis, IN. Isabella Hart-Clark in Louisville, KY. And Lilyan Hart (Ricky) in Newburgh, IN.

Sindee was preceded by her mother, Frances (King) Robinson, and father, William Robinson, brother, William Robinson, and sister Deamonda (Robinson) Gatins.

Sindee was known and loved by everyone she met. Sindee was an artist, teaching American folk-art classes and ran a successful business selling her artwork for several years. She was involved in the rescue of Old English Sheepdogs for many years and turned her love of dogs into a very successful Scottish Terrier dog breeding business, with clients in 44 states and 5 foreign countries. Though the deterioration of her health forced the closing of the dog business, it allowed her to re-connect with an Olde English Sheepdog (Augie) that is the apple of her eye.

Sindee was active for several years on the reunion committee for the Bosse High School Class of 1965 including a couple of reunions where we collected aluminum cans for the class to have enough money to rent a venue! She was also active in the Bossy Babes of 1965 until her illness prevented her from going to their monthly luncheons. She always had a funny story to tell the “Babes”.

Sindee was truly one-of-a-kind and will terribly missed.

The family especially wants to thank Dr. Erin Marchand, Amy Stott, NP, and the caretakers at Heart-to-Heart Hospice… Tammy, Lindsay, Laura, and Jennifer
