Howard Frank LaFave, 66, of Alpena passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his home.
Howard was born in Alpena on May 10, 1958, to the late Frank and Doris (Millard) LaFave. He worked as a mechanic his whole life, enjoyed going on nature rides, on the side by side, and fixing things in his garage.
Surviving are his 6 children, Chad Anderson, Bambi (Sam) Meoak, Ashley (Michael) Johnson, Tony (Amber Cline) LaFave, Howard LaFave, Odessa LaFave; 12 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; fiancée, Connie DeCare; 6 siblings, Susan (Gerald) Smith, Cheryl Fensamaker, Pam (Tony) Boyan, Rick LaFave, JoAnn Howay, Timberly (Bryan) Daust; many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Howard’s life will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
