Carson Edgar Ikard, Jr. age 72 of Maiden passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at his home. He was born April 15, 1952 in Catawba County, son of the late Carson Edgar Ikard, Sr and Catherine Ramseur Ikard. He was employed at Ethan Allen Furniture Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Ikard.
He Lived a simple yet fulfilling life.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Brothers: Phillip Ikard (Bernice), Tony Ikard and Bruce Ikard (Mercedes) all of Maiden
Sisters: Martha Finger and Patty Finger (Ronnie) all of Lincolnton and Annette Ikard of Maiden
Host of nephews, nieces and other relatives
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 P.M. Wednesday August 21, 2024 in the Burke Funeral Home Chapel in Newton with Pastor William Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Maiden Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 1:00 to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
