Vincenza (née Cancilleri) Giordano, 90, of Passaic, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

Born and raised in Geraci Siculo, Sicily, Mrs. Giordano and her late husband brought their family to the United States on May 17, 1970, and settled in Passaic, NJ. Mrs. Giordano was a faithful parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Passaic and was a member of the St. Bartholomew Society. She was a homemaker and factory worker who loved to crochet and cook, as well as tend to her garden; but, to her, nothing meant more than her family – especially her grandkids, who always brought a smile to her face and happiness to her heart.

Mrs. Giordano was predeceased by her loved and deeply missed husband, Antonio Giordano, who passed away on January 3, 2001.

She is survived by her six loving and devoted children: Vincenzo “Tony” Giordano of Passaic, NJ, Josephine Giordano of Passaic, NJ, Anna Maria Geranio and her husband, Serafino, of Brick, NJ, Joseph Giordano and his wife, Josephine, of Green Twp., NJ, Rosario Giordano and his wife, Jennifer, of Columbia, NJ, and Antoinette Melillo and her husband, Dennis, also of Green Twp., NJ; twelve loved grandchildren: Anthony Giordano and his wife, Nicole, Vincent Geranio and his wife, Monika, Josephine Geranio, Anthony Geranio, Nicholas Giordano, Gianna Giordano, Matthew Giordano and his wife, Meghan, Antonia Lee and her husband, Robert, Alexa Giordano, Angela Melillo, Michael Melillo, and Joseph Melillo; three cherished great-grandchildren: Isabella Geranio, Vincenzo Geranio, and Roland Giordano; and five dear siblings: Angelina Scangarello of Clifton, NJ, Giuseppina Ragozzino of Passaic, NJ, John Cancilleri, also of Passaic, NJ, Lucia Fazio of Rochester, NY, and Antonietta Chichi of Clifton, NJ.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, 3-8 PM at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home (1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 9:15 AM at the funeral home, and at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church (3107, 101-103 Myrtle Avenue, Passaic, NJ 07055).
