SPOALES EILEEN (KENNEDY) Age 101, of Shaler Township, peacefully and surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Born on January 15, 1923, and raised in Lawrenceville, Eileen was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Anthony R. Spoales; and siblings, Raymond, Robert, Grace, and Mary Loretta Kennedy. She is survived by her sister Rosemary Shimp. Beloved mother of Gary (Linda), Bruce (Suzanne), and Brian; grandmother of Jeremy (Erin) Spoales, Heather (Mike) Connolly, Kristen (Livaldi, Baba Jan) da Cruz and Nicole (Eric) Emreschak; great-grandmother of Charlie, Cooper and Chase Spoales, Jackson and Chelsea Connolly, Lidia and Dandara da Cruz and Avery, Aubrey and Charlotte Emreschak ; also survived by many loving nephews, nieces and many family and friends. Eileen was a devout Catholic establishing her faith at St. John the Baptist Church and School, and was a parishioner of St. Anne’s, Millvale now known as St. Matthew Parish. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Christian Mothers and Club Shalar in which she enjoyed the many friends who came to swim with her. Eileen loved playing cards, especially 500 rummy with her family and friends, pinochle and tripoley with different card clubs and lifelong friends. Eileen will be greatly missed by many who knew and loved her.
