Dennis Wayne McCann age 53, departed this life on Friday August 16, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 14, 1970. He was the son of Earl and Linda McCann. He was a son, brother, uncle and friend to anyone who had the joy of being around him. He was a member of the Black Creek Crossroads Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing with his great-nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents: C.D. (Bud) Cross and wife Alta and Arthur and Lona McCann.

He is survived by his loving mother and father: Earl and Linda McCann; Brother: Billy McCann and wife Charlotte; Sister: Tonya Massengale and husband Jonathon; Niece: Brittany McCann and fiancé Brandon Hamby; Nephew: Dustin Bowling and wife DeAnn; Niece: Kelly Anderson and husband Mark; Great-Nieces & Nephews: Landon Frogge, Abby Hamby, Rylee Anderson, Dilynn Bowling, Luke Hamby, Dallas Bowling, and Ada Hamby; and many other cousins, family, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Bro. Joe West and Bro. Jerry Byrge officiating. Music to be provided by the Outreach Church Choir. Burial to follow in the McCann Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Russell, Landon Frogge, Dustin Bowling, Mark Anderson, Brandon Hamby, and Ronnie Morgan; Honorary Pallbearers: Denton Henry, Rhodney Foster, and Jeremy Norman.
