Frances Marie Lamm, “Marie”, 92 of Churchton, MD, formerly of St. Mary’s County, MD, passed away on August 10, 2024 in Washington D.C. Marie was born on June 25, 1932 in Oakley, MD and was the loving daughter of the late Charles B. Farrell and Carrie Frances Graves Farrell. Marie was the wife of the late Thomas Russell Lamm of Nash County, NC, who preceded her in death on January 11, 2002. Marie is survived by her daughters, Linda Joann Mallonee (Robert), Arleen Godfrey (David), two grandchildren, Christine Marie Mallonee and David Wayne Mallonee (Tammy), three great grandchildren, David Wayne Mallonee II, Dane Russell Jones, and Jack Kamm Mallonee. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Farrell Jr., the late Gertrude Hammett, Melvin Farrell, the late Edward Farrell.
Marie graduated from Margeret Brent High School and was a Prince George’s County bus driver for 26 years, a devoted mother, and a loving wife. She enjoyed quilting and quilting meetings with her friends, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with prayers in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bushwood, MD. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
