The Singletary's family circle was forever changed Monday, August 12, 2024 when Ms. Singletary quietly went to sleep in the bosom of Jesus Christ while resting at home in Bladenboro, NC.

The services that will honor this Virtuous Matriarch have been orchestrated by her devoted family and will begin on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, between the hours of 5pm and 7pm for reflecting moments while Ms. Singletary lies in a peaceful state of repose in the main chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown Campus. A Triumphant Grand Finale Celebration remembering this precious jewel will begin at 2pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 also at Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown Campus. Immediately following the farewell celebration, Ms. Singletary physical vessel and her cherished family will be escorted to Singletary Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC for Committal Rites. One can only imagine the void Martha's family will have doing things that once involved her, but all can find solace knowing that this world was simply a dressing room. Now she has earned her glorious crown of righteousness and beautiful custom long white robe, and she is touring the streets paved with pure gold, awaiting that day when she will see all of her loved ones yet again in glory.
