The book of Job declared " the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." It is with genuine sadness that the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces the earthly departure of Ms. Carolyn M. Johnson. Ms. Johnson moved into her Heavenly home on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. 

Commencing on Monday, August 19, 2024 between the hour of 12noon and 1pm, Ms. Johnson's earthen vessel will lie in a tranquil repose for a time of visitation and reflection in the main sanctuary of First New Light Missionary Baptist Church located at 5146 River Rd in White Oak, NC. Immediately following the visiting hours at 1pm, the official Obsequies will be called to order. Immediately following the services in the chapel, Ms. Johnson along with her adored family, will be escorted to St. Rest Cemetery in White Oak, NC for Committal Rites. Yes, this is a very hard task for Ms. Johnson's family to endure, yet they can rest knowing she is in the number John spoke of in the book of Revelation when it stated “those are they who have come up through hard trials and tribulations and have washed their robes in the Blood of the Lamb."

Ms. Johnson's family is receiving services of compassion and distinguished class from  E.M. Matthews and the Majestic Servants of Service of Elizabethtown.
