Joseph W. Kilboy, aged 81, passed away peacefully with family present on August 12th, 2024 in Staten Island, N.Y. Born on November 9th, 1942, he was a devoted husband to Lucretia and a loving father to Angela, Jennie, Theresa, and Lynda. He was a man that exemplified integrity, a true gentleman; courteous, polite, and respectful to all leaving a lasting impact on everyone he knew. Joseph had an amazing sense of humor which he carried until the end. He approached life playfully, always making others laugh, and finding humor in difficult and stressful times. Joseph was a hardworking man; dependable, steadfast, and unwavering not only to his family, but proudly exhibiting these characteristics during his career as a printer for the New York Times. Joseph gave his immeasurable love and kindness freely and generously to his family. He is survived by his wife Lucretia; his children Angela, Jennie, Theresa, Lynda; his grandchildren Jenna, Joseph, Michael, Kayla, Paul, Jillian, Gwenyth, Hunter, and Christian. As well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. We find comfort in the knowledge that Joseph leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, he will live on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever. Joseph walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone he encountered with an unforgettable grace.
