Paul William Mosteller,70, of Andrews passed away peacefully Saturday August 10, 2024, after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was born on July 10, 1954, to the late Elmo and Betty Mosteller. He was born and raised in Andrews, a 1972 graduate of Andrews High School, and of the Baptist Faith.

Paul was an avid outdoorsman. He spent a lot of time hunting, boating and fishing on Nantahala Lake. He had many friends that he considered brothers. His life was not bound by blood to many, it was rich with memories and deeply rooted relationships.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Mike Mosteller and a nephew Casey Foster.

Surviving is his wife of 32 years Teresa Beavers Mosteller of Andrews, NC; two sons, Paul Sheridan Mosteller and William Hunter Mosteller, both of Andrews, NC; two sisters, Patricia Foster and husband Lewis of Murphy, NC, Melissa Hicks of Brevard, NC; three nieces, Tracy Foster, Joi Jackson, and Cynthia Hicks; and one nephew, Jay Mosteller.

The family would like to thank everyone who has prayed for Paul and visited him during his illness. They would like to express a special thank you to Chris Jones and Ricky Barnard who have spent many hours with Paul during his illness.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 12 PM in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Andrews with the Reverend Phillip Hodge officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers were Chris Jones, Ricky Barnard, Todd Hicks, Ricky Davis, Barry Curtis, Kevin Baldwin, Michael Yon, and Mack Tatham.

The family received friends from 11-11:50 am on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Ivie Funeral Home in Andrews.
