Leslie Edgar Ainsworth, 75, of Huntington, Arkansas, entered into rest on August 7, 2024. Leslie was born to Edgar and Arvilla Ainsworth on March 9, 1949, in Douglas, Arizona.
He moved to Arkansas and graduated from Van Buren high school in May of 1968, and joined the Army shortly thereafter, and served in Vietnam, where he earned a purple heart and two bronze stars for Valor. Leslie had a passion for woodwork and made amazing things with wood. He loved to fish and loved to take his grandkids with him.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Sandra, his wife of 44 years, of the home. He leaves a legacy of 5 children; two sons, Michael Taylor and wife Kathy; three daughters, Traci Taylor and partner Wade, Tonya Ainsworth, and Aundrea Ainsworth. He will be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind one brother, Keith Ainsworth.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Arvilla Ainsworth, two infant brothers, and his oldest granddaughter.
No funeral arrangements will be held at this time. Memorial services will be held at a later date when family can gather.
