John Philip Kothe, born on October 23, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 6, 2024.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Toni Kothe, his sister Marcia Small, and his cherished children Glen Garon and Stacey Hughes. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Kothe, and his parents, John and Norma Kothe.
John was a proud Navy veteran and had a lifelong passion for flying, becoming an accomplished pilot. His talents were many, including the remarkable achievement of building his own airplane. John will be remembered as a supportive and loving head of his family, whose legacy of love, dedication, and craftsmanship will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
