Raymal V Dennis

March 9, 1942 - August 4, 2024

Raymall V. Dennis, age 82 of Northlake, Illinois, passed away after an acute illness. He was a devoted husband of 61 years of Nancy C. Dennis, nee Schlottman. He was preceded in death by his son Raymal W. Dennis (Michelle M. Dennis). Proud grandfather of Marguerite E. Dennis, and a devoted father of April E. Dennis (Ryan S. Goodman) and benevolent extended family Richard L. Herrmann and Stephen B. Jacquin. He was a much loved Uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Raymal was the last of three sons born to the late Arthur R. Dennis, Sr. and Irene E. King. He was preceded in death by his brother Arthur R. Dennis, Jr. (Beryl J. Dahl), and is survived by his brother Ronald W. Dennis (Joan T. Jaeger). 

Raymal spent his first 8 years of life in Chicago, Illinois before he moved to Northlake with his family. It was then, in grade school, he met Nancy who would later become his wife. He pursued Industrial Painting as his career path. During his career, he worked on various high profile projects and was highly regarded for his vast knowledge in the field. Raymal retired in 2001 and enjoyed splitting his time between the home in Northlake and the second home that was in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. During his golden years, he enjoyed watching Adult Swim, listening to music, and keeping his yard impeccable. 

He had a unique sense of humor and was quick to put a smile on anyone's face. His vast knowledge (and tool collection) was continually tapped by both family, friends and neighbors. Raymal was always quick to lend a hand to assist in completing a task or fixing whatever was in need of repair.

Raymal will always be remembered for putting his wife and family first.
