Marjorie Ann Giles, 76, of McRae, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at McRae Manor Nursing Home. She was born on Monday, March 29, 1948, in McRae, Georgia to the late Louie Lee and Syble Evans Grimes.

Marjorie dedicated many years of her life as a bank teller at Merchants & Citizens Bank. She was a member of Helena Baptist Church.

She is survived by her Daughter - Jennifer Staples (Jeb) of Milan; her Son -Shawn Giles of McRae; her Granddaughter - Layla Grace Staples of Milan; her Brother - Jack Grimes (Marjorie) of Macon; and her Nephews - Jody, Coty, Kelvin, and David Grimes. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Giles, Jr. and brother, Darrell Grimes.

Funeral Services will be held at Lowes Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. L.S. Seabolt will officiate, assisted by Rev. Aubrey Corbitt. Interment will take place at Helena City Cemetery.
