Gloria June Goff Oiler Obituary

Gloria June Goff Oiler, 71, of Langsville, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born March 20, 1953 in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of the late Darrel and Mabel Davis Goff of Langsville.

She was the owner of Oiler's Trash Service and loved her loyal customers. She was a school bus driver for Meigs Local School District for 32 years before her retirement in 2010. She was also a displayer for Home Interiors and Gifts for over 20 years.

She was a faithful member of the Danville Church of Christ and a member of Star Grange 778. She was also a member of the Rutlandites and a proud supporter of the Meigs County Republican Party.

Gloria was a devoted Mom, MaMaw and friend to all who knew and loved her. She spent her Tuesday evenings preparing dinner and Saturday mornings preparing breakfast for her son, Kevin. He would come by those days, and most days, as he hauled cattle for his cattle company, Oiler's Livestock, which was previously ran by Gloria and started by her late husband, Keith.

If not at home with her family, Gloria could be found with her granddaughter, Keely. She spent lots of time watching pageants, dance recitals and basketball games that Keely cheered for. Gloria loved her family fiercely. She also loved her small-knit community of Danville/Langsville and considered all her community family and their kids were "her" kids.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Wayne and Lois Oiler of Middleport. Her daughter and son-in-law, Lorena Lynn and Jesse Pishner of Gallipolis. Her only grandchild and "Pride and Joy", Keely Nicole Pishner of Gallipolis and her faithful companion, Keely’s Kitten, Pumpkin!

She is also survived by her sister, Rosanna Kitchen of West Jefferson, OH. Her sisters-in-law, Yvonne Goff of Monroe, MI, LaDonna (Arnold) Pope of Newark, OH, Jo Pineyro of Greensboro, SC, Jennell Oiler of Gallipolis and Jennett "Tweet" (Doug) Ousley of Vinton. Her brothers-in-law, Jeff (Joyce) Oiler of Vinton and Randy Oiler of Middleport. Her nephews, nieces and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, R. Keith Oiler on August 21, 2009. Her brothers, Marlin and Delmas Goff and her sister, Darlene Dill. Her brothers-in-law, Earl Dill, Rudy Kitchen and Keith Lemley and her sister-in-law, Lenni Lemley. Also, her nephews, Todd Kitchen, Jeffrey Oiler and David Oiler.
