Longtime Grays Harbor resident Paul Robert Dubuque passed away at his home in Aberdeen on Sunday, August 4, 2024. Paul was born May 23, 1951 in New Orleans, LA to Leland and Elvira (Lot) Dubuc. Paul was raised in New Orleans and graduated from Slidell High School.
On May 17, 1997 Paul married the love of his life Marianne “Ginger” Burris in Ocosta, WA. She survives him at the family home in Aberdeen.
Paul had worked in tire sales and service for over 40 years. He also taught dance with Kathleen Walsh. Paul was a member of Cornerstone Church, where he was a deacon and head usher (he was always at a table “his” in the foyer and greeted everyone coming in. He also belonged to the Christian Motorcycle Assoc. and various bowling leagues. Besides bowling and motorcycles, Paul loved watching football, especially the Seahawks. He also enjoyed fishing; but his heart was his Harley.
In addition to his wife Ginger he is survived by his children, Hollie Graham, Nick Poukkula, Justin Burris (Courtney) of Cosmopolis, Isaac Appletoft (Stephanie) and Aaron Dubuque (Jenna) both of Aberdeen; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and his “adopted” children Josh Malidore, Joseph Trepanier, Eli Stroy, Chris Pinkney, Josh Stroy, Charles, Anthony and William Cullum, Chase Reeder, Sam Trepanier and Ben Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leland Dubuc and sister Joyce Jacques.
A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, September 28th at 1 o'clock, Cornerstone Community Church, 2008 Sumner Ave. in Aberdeen with a potluck following.
