Betty Ann Grant passed from this world on August 4, 2024 leaving behind many memories and friendships.


Betty was born to Albert and Helen Russell on February 11,1931. Betty was the wife of the late Harold Grant. She was preceded in death by her only (and beloved) brother; Jimmy Russell and his wife, Anne Russell. Betty was the proud mother of four children and their spouses; Jerry (and Jan) Grant, David (and Terry) Grant, Carol Ann (and Steve) Woodland and Susan (and Gene) Hennige; five grandchildren and their families; Ryan Woodland, Jason Woodland, Lauren Zwick, David Thibault and Kevin Thibault and three great grandchildren; Noah Woodland, Eli Woodland and Grant Zwick.


She attended Twin Falls High School and went on to attend Nursing School in Portland, Oregon. She met Harold Grant shortly after and enjoyed 56 years of marriage while living in Eden and Twin Falls, Idaho.


Betty loved playing and watching golf, playing contract bridge, skiing, working in clothing retail at Ropers, serving as a Saint Luke’s Hospital Volunteer for several years in the Gift Shop and Imaging Center, traveling, completing puzzles, maintaining a garden (especially tomatoes) and caring for her two cats; Sweetie and Molly.


Special thanks for the support from Victoria Laucius, M.D. and her staff; neighbors Frank and Gaylene; friends Kathy Pierce, Jan Izatt, Rosa Montana and caregivers with Visions Home Care/Hospice, Home Options, and Avista Senior Living.


A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park at 10 am on August 9, 2024.
