Calvin Jerry Keefer Obituary

Calvin Jerry Keefer, 70, of Berwick, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.


Born December 14, 1953 in Berwick, he was the son of the late Harold and Josephine (Plish) Keefer.


A graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1971, he was employed as a service supervisor at UGI for 30 years.


Above all, he loved his three daughters and spending time with his family.


Calvin enjoyed camping with Kim, and his annual fishing trips to Canada.


Surviving are three daughters: Dyanne Keefer-Ferguson and her husband, Thomas, of Berwick, Michelle Schlegel and her husband, Jon, of Fallston, MD, and Cristie McCabe and her husband, Kip, of Berwick; five grandchildren: Jade, Chloe, Brady, Derek, and Gia; his stepdaughter, April Zerbe and her significant other, Lundy, and their children, Lillian and Lyia, of Nescopeck; two brothers: Harold Keefer and his wife, Jane, of Berwick, and Frederick Keefer and his wife, Nina, of Forty-Fort; a sister, Frances Hampton of Berwick and her late husband, Wendall; and his significant other of many years, Kim Morzilla. Calvin also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.


A visitation will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 5-8:00 P.M. at the Maria Assunta, 901 Monroe Street, Berwick.


Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., Berwick.
