After a two-year battle with cancer, Shaozhen “Lee” peacefully passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on July 29, 2024. She is now looking down on the ones she loves from a better place.
Born on July 18, 1964, to Bingshen Qin and Qinglan Wei, she is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Michael, as well as three sisters, two brothers, nieces, nephews, and many more cherished family and friends.
Shaozhen was born in China and later emigrated to New Zealand, where she met Michael on line. The love for each other began. She, within months, moved to the United States, where she proudly became a U.S. citizen. She learned English in England, where she developed a deep admiration for Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana.
She will be remembered for her courage, heart for others, and her savvy business skills, from flipping Tri-5 Chevys to owning a dress shop.
Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well. In her final weeks, she was able to enjoy the beach at sunrise, finding peace at her favorite place.
Honor her for all that hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31:31
