Johnny Wesley Jones, 80, of Belmont passed away August 2, 2024 at his home. He is the son of the late Jem Jones and Ruth Brewer Jones and  husband of  63 years to Doris "Sue" Dell Jones.

Johnny was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather..He enjoyed going to his grandchildren's activities. He loved his family unconditional and will be deeply missed by many.

Johnny's hobbies were playing baseball in his younger years, golfing and fishing. He was a master mind of trades.

Leaving behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Sue Jones;  daughter, Shanda (Barry) Richmond; son, Shim Jones (Heather); grandchildren, Haylee Beck and husband, David, Addison Jones, BJ Richmond and wife, Laurel, Wesley Richmond and wife, Joye; great-grandchildren, Jake, Avery, Linley, Belle, Boomer and Della; sister, Wilma Adair

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; brothers, Kelly Jones, Ray Jones; sisters, Ellen Sisco, Mary Rhodes.

A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 with Pastor Joe Lawing officiating.
