Yvonne Diane Bochenek passed into the loving arms of Jesus on July 29, 2024, with her son, Joseph, at her side.

Yvonne was born January 5, 1939, daughter of Henry and Marian Walli. She grew up in Stephenson, Michigan, and graduated from Stephenson High School in 1958. She married Joseph Bochenek in 1964.

Yvonne was a die-hard Cubs fan and loved to play bingo at St. Monica’s Catholic Church.

Yvonne had a loving heart and will be deeply missed by her two sons, Joseph Bochenek Jr., and Stanley Bochenek; her sisters, Sr. Kathleen Walli, Sheila Glodowski, Maribeth Czerwonka, Suzanne Condon, and Joy Brock. As well as her brothers, Henry Walli V, Douglas Walli, Lance Walli, and Michael Walli; and her many nieces, nephews and in laws.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving husband in 2001; her parents; her brothers Richard, Charles, Lawrence, and Dennis Walli; her niece Susan Kositzke and her nephews Erik Toepke and Larry Lee Walli.

Visitation for Yvonne will be held at Laird Funeral Home in West Dundee, Illinois on Monday August 5, from 8:30am-10:45am. The funeral mass will follow at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, Carpentersville, Illinois, at 11:00am. Burial will be in Dundee Township Cemetery in East Dundee, Illinois.
