Nadine Schock, age 92, of Carleton, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 in Taylor, Michigan.
Born on September 10, 1931 in Newport, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Otis and Ellen (Eversole) Fox. On June 16, 1956 she married Robert Schock in Carleton, Michigan.
She was employed with Ohio Bell as a phone operator until her retirement.
Nadine was a member of Carleton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with special needs children for years, including "Holiday Camp". She was also an avid reader and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Doug Leiffer, siblings, Betty Farley, Jean Stafford, Jerry Martin, Phillip Fox.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Shelly) Schock, Jr., Bradley Schock, Pam Buttery, siblings, James Fox, Lorene Mann, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Jung Yum will officiate the service. Burial will be in Carleton Cemetery, Carleton, Michigan.
