Connie Cooper-Caruso, 70, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

Born on July 14, 1954, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late William and Ann (Sadlon) Monahan.

Connie graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with an associate degree in dental assisting. She was employed for almost 39 years at Schutze Family Dentistry, where she was an invaluable asset. Her coworkers became her second family.

She married James Caruso on January 9, 2016 at their home in South Glens Falls.

Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, walking, and staying busy. She spent many days off going to garage sales to find great deals. Over the years, she loved to play a competitive game of scrabble with her daughters. Connie also spent many long weekends with Jim and friends at their cabin in Newcomb.

In addition to her parents, Connie was predeceased by her sisters, Betty Rayno and Patty Delaire.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jim Caruso; her children, Kim Cooper-Raimo and Joanne (Travis Smith) Cooper; her grandchildren, Cassandra Raimo, Camden Raimo, Natalie Smith, Charlotte Smith; three great grandchildren; her siblings, Richard Monahan, Robert Monahan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her family would like to recognize the quality and compassionate care that she received at Glens Falls Hospital (ER, Cath Lab, ICU) and at Albany Medical Center (CCU).

Friends and family may call from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday, August 5, 2024, at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls NY 12803.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
