Rosemarie Colavolpe Darin of Branford, died on Sunday July 28, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of the late Victor Darin.
Rosemarie was born March 21, 1934 in New Haven, a daughter of the late Ralph and Anna Santamauro Colavolpe. She worked as a seamstress for many years.
She is survived by her children, Ann Legrand of New Haven, Victor (Kathryn) Darin of Branford, Christina Poole of Brightwood, VA, and Gina (Robert) Blakeslee of Branford; nine grandchildren, Eric (Lia) Katz, Andrew Katz, Patrick (Nayda) LeGrand, Kim (Josh) Darin, Elizabeth (Justin) Darin, Joseph (Abby) Darin, Alyssa Poole, Bryan (Bea) Poole, and Robert (Ali) Blakeslee and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Carol Ceneri and her brothers Biagio, Ralph, Anthony “Chuck”, and Joseph Colavolpe. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Salvatore Ceneri of Branford and his children Maria and Salvatore Ceneri, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Friday morning at 11:00, with visitation prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00, at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
