Debra Ann Hatfield, age 62 of Van Lear, Kentucky passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at her home.

     Born May 1, 1962 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Joel Leon Richmond and Thelma Grace Delong. In addition to her mother and father, Debra is preceded in death by one daughter, Bridgett Lemaster; one grandson, Ethan Lemaster; two brothers, James Ervin Richmond and Chester Lee Richmond; and one sister, Glenda Sue Goble.

     She is survived by her husband, Andy “Jerry” Hatfield; two sons, Joel Lemaster of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and John Lemaster of Independence, Kentucky; five sisters, Linda Joyce Newberry, Eva Mae McKenzie and Wanda Jo Goble and Unoka Sharon Burchett; six grandchildren, Peyton Lemaster, Kiley Lemaster, Dragan Lemaster, Trenton Adams, Skylynn Adams and Chyann Adams. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

     Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Thursday, August 1, 2024 with burial will follow in the Richmond Family Cemetery at Van Lear. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Wednesday and until the time of service on Thursday.
