Bobby Joe Jones
July 7, 1959 – April 12, 2024
On April 12, 2024, Bobby was called to his forever home in heaven with his beloved wife and soulmate Tami Marie Jones at the age of 64.
Bobby was born on July 7, 1959, to Joe and Curtsy Jones in West Plaines, Missouri. They moved to the Monterey Peninsula when Bobby was a little boy. Years later, he met and married the love of his life Tami Marie. They were married on July 1, 1995, at Lovers Point in Pacific Grove, California. Bobby and Tami were together for 37 years and married for almost 29 years. Bobby and Tami were always at each other's side. They had a very unique and loving bond where they just couldn’t be without one another. Bobby was very creative, and artistic he could fix almost anything. If someone needed his help, he would always go out of his way to help them. He was a great cook. He enjoyed working on cars and family get togethers. He always made sure that his kids had great holidays. He liked listening to ‘70s rock and disco music and he had a special liking for muscle cars, particularly the ’67 Ford Mustang. He had a one of a kind sense of humor.
Bobby is survived by his six children Jeremiah Jones, Mathew Jones, Sabrina Porter, Daniel Bridge, Christina Snedden, and Amy Adams. Two stepchildren Rosemarie Trejo and Robert Bridge. Eleven grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and one great step grandchild. Three brothers, Michael Burns, Kenneth Jones, and Aaron Jones. Two sisters Sondra Jones-LaFrentz and Pamela Jones. One stepbrother James Porter and four stepsisters Kimberley Cary, Sarah Porter, Yvonne Porter, and Jannie Campbell. He is preceded in death by his father Joe Jones, mother Curtsy Porter, brother Gerald Jones, stepfather Johnny Porter Sr. and stepbrother Johnny Porter Jr. Bobby will always be loved and forever missed. We will see you and Mom in heaven again one day!
