"Tom"

Tom was born on July 6, 1966, and passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2024.

Tom was a loving husband to Diane (Newman) and a devoted Dad to Jonathan and David.  He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Wollmer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and Beverly (Barton) McMahon.

Tom served as a Parking Agent with the Waukesha Police Department from January 2016 until January 2021. Tom also provided selfless service through volunteering with the Waukesha Police Reserve Unit from January 2015 until February 2022. He was also active in his sons’ Boy Scouts of America Troops 4 and 16.

Tom enjoyed watching his son David play football and his son Jonathan’s robotics team. Tom had a love of music and was a part-time DJ when Diane first met him. His hobbies included collecting comic books, playing games with friends, reading, trains, and traveling.

Tom had a heart for others and God. One of his fondest memories was a mission trip to Louisiana to help with projects at the maximum-security prison there.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 West National Avenue, New Berlin.
