Thomas "Tommy" Martin Fisher, 81, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 26, 1942, in Pocomoke City, MD, he was the son of the late Norwood and Amelia Fisher.
He was proud to have served our country in the National Guard, Department of the Army, where he achieved the status of Private at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Throughout his life, Tommy pursued a career as a self-employed mechanic in the automotive industry, where his passion and expertise were very apparent. He was also a devoted member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church where he served as treasurer. In his free time he could be found outdoors, whether on land or on the water fishing. Tommy was also an avid card player and enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Baltimore Orioles. His family says he never missed a game.
Tommy is survived by his daughter, Tammy Lynn Crawford, his son, Martin Wayne Fisher, and other loving family members, Carolyn Jackson, Louise Nicholson, and Terry Foskey.
A ceremony honoring Tommy's life will be held privately for the family only.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared for the family at www.hollowayfh.com
